So, here are some suggestion that I think are suitable and safe for seniors.

Nordic pole walking

Nordic pole walking is highly enjoyable and easy to learn. It is a combination of cross country skiing and walking on dry land. Pushing the pole tips against the ground distribute body weight away from the lower body and relieve stress from the walker’s joints. With the combination of walking and upper body strength workout, it is a very good full body workout.

Yoga is suitable for people of all ages. It is not just suitable for the young, fit and healthy. There are so many benefits of doing yoga. Practice long enough and it will improve many aspect of a person health. Yoga can improve strength and flexibility of the joints. It helps fight degenerative disease such as arthritis. It improves the sense of balance, body awareness and concentration. It also improves the circulation of blood and strengthen the immune system. These are some examples of the benefits of yoga.

Swimming

Swimming is ideal for elderly, mainly because it presents little risk of injury and has a low impact. Water exercise workout all the muscle groups, so it can be considered as a complete workout. For those who have existing joint injuries, swimming is highly recommended.

Hire a trainer.

Personal trainers can help seniors with specific goals, whether they are looking to improve their overall physical health or build muscle strength. Like anyone else, seniors can go to the gym by themselves and exercise, but a personal trainer can help provide tangible, realistic goals for seniors’ fitness programs. Plus, trainers are knowledgeable and are experts in their fields. They can monitor progress and ensure seniors are exercising safely and using equipment properly, thus decreasing their risks of getting injured.
